We are excited to announce that a new update has been released for the New Hope Launcher (Connector)!
What's New?
* Auto-Update Integration: The launcher now automatically checks for updates on startup. If a new version of the launcher is available on our server, it will download and update itself automatically.
* Map Rendering Fix: Fixed a critical bug where the Trammel map (map1) would render as black squares with the text "UNUSED" on certain client setups. The ground textures (grass, dirt, gravel) are now fully restored and display correctly.
What do you need to do?
* For New Players: Simply download the latest launcher from the homepage of our website (http://www.newhopeuo.com). It comes pre-packaged with the new auto-updater.
* For Existing Players:
To get this update and fix the Trammel map glitch, please:
1. Go to our website homepage (http://www.newhopeuo.com).
2. Download the 1. New Hope Launcher (Connector) zip file.
3. Extract it and copy NewHope_Launcher.exe over your old launcher executable in your game directory.
4. Run the new launcher. It will automatically download the corrected map files and launch the game.
From now on, you will not need to manually download launcher updates or patch files again - the launcher will handle all future updates automatically!
