WARSHIPS, CANNONS & CAPTAIN SKILL SYSTEM GUIDE
The seas of Hopelands are vast, dangerous, and filled with sea cargo, pirate ships, and naval warfare! Here is everything you need to know about commanding your own warship.
1. Warship Types & Features
- Small Warship: Fast, agile, equipped with 2 deck cannons. Ideal for solo scouting.
- Medium Warship: Balanced durability and firepower with 4 deck cannons and expanded cargo hold.
- Large Galleon / Dreadnought: Heavy armored war vessel equipped with up to 8 cannons, massive cargo capacity, and high hull resistance.
2. The Captain Skill
- Captain Skill enhances your ship handling, turning speed, cannon accuracy, and damage reduction against sea monsters and hostile cannons.
- Trained by navigating through open ocean waters, engaging in naval combat, and completing sea trade cargo missions.
3. Cannon Operation & Ammunition Types
To fire ship cannons, double-click the cannon, load gunpowder, and insert your ammunition:
- Heavy Iron Cannonballs: Deals devastating direct damage to enemy ship hulls.
- Chain Shots: Destroys enemy sails and severely slows down enemy vessel speed.
- Grape Shots: Spreads shrapnel across the enemy deck, dealing high damage to crew and players.
4. Sea Cargo & Trade Missions
Visit harbor masters in coastal towns to pick up trade cargo crates, transport them safely across the ocean to destination ports, and earn substantial gold and maritime rewards!
