Sea Transportation and Trade (Cargo) System 🚢 THE ERA OF SEA CARGO TRANSPORTATION AND MARITIME TRADE HAS BEGUN! 🚢 The custom Sea Cargo Transportation system has been activated for New Hope UO! This system allows players to purchase cargo and transport it between harbors using their own ships, earning massive gold rewards and gaining Cargo Experience Points (XP) to level up their merchant status. --- 🎮 Getting Started & Buying Cargo To begin cargo trading, visit any Cargo Master NPC located at the major harbor docks.
To accept a cargo contract, you must have your ship launched and docked near the Cargo Master (within 30 tiles).
Double-clicking the Cargo Master opens the trading menu, where you can view available contracts, destination ports, distance, cargo purchase costs, bank rewards, and XP gains.
Cargo is virtually loaded onto your ship (no physical items are created inside your backpack or hold to avoid weight limits or duplication exploits).
⚙️ Autopilot Mode For long seafaring journeys, players can activate the automated navigation system!
While aboard your cargo ship, type the command [cargo or [kargo to open the cargo interface. From there, you can toggle **Autopilot** mode.
In Autopilot mode, the ship automatically sails towards the next waypoint, moving one tile every **0.3 seconds** (matching maximum boat speed).
**Bypassing Sea Monsters:** Autopilot ships automatically ignore collisions with mobiles (such as water elementals, krakens, and sea monsters), sailing straight through them without stopping.
If the ship hits land or a static obstacle, Autopilot will automatically stop and alert you. You must remain online/active during the journey.

Larger vessels can carry higher volumes of cargo, multiplying both the initial purchase cost and the final gold/XP rewards proportionally:

Player Vendor Search System 🔍 SEARCH ALL PLAYER SHOPS REAL-TIME ON THE WEB! 🔍 The custom Player Vendor Search engine has been activated for New Hope UO! This system scans all player-owned vendor shops across the world and displays them on a live, interactive web dashboard. Players can easily browse, filter, and locate specific items for sale directly from their web browsers. --- 🎮 Accessing in Game You can open the Player Vendor Search engine at any time in game by clicking the Gold Adorned Chest button located in the top-right menu bar of your ClassicUO client (next to the Connection button).
You can also use the player commands: [VendorSearch or [Pazar to toggle the button visible or hidden.
🔍 How to Search
The search engine provides high-precision filters to locate your desired items:
Search Item: Filter items by their name or detailed descriptions.
Vendor / Owner: Filter by vendor name, shop name, or player owner name.
World / Map: Select a specific world map (Felucca, Trammel, etc.).
Sort By: Sort results by price (Low to High, High to Low), quantity, or item name.
Locating Vendors on the Map
Clicking the Location Badge (e.g., Felucca [1343, 1549]) in the location column will expand a detailed map viewport showing the shop's exact location in the world with a pulsing red pin.
Regular players can use this interactive map preview to locate the shop and travel there manually in the game world.

🧐 How Does It Work? 🐎 For Sellers (Listing a Mount)
Locate the NewHope Mount Vendor in the bazaar area, wearing a shining Ice Blue 15th Anniversary Robe, and double-click them.
Select Register Mount from the menu and target the mount you want to sell.
Enter the desired gold amount for your mount in the prompt box.
Your mount will be safely held by the system (there is absolutely no risk of decay, death, or running away during this period).
When your mount is sold, the gold will be deposited directly into your bank account.
You can cancel your listing and retrieve your pet at any time using the Reclaim button.
Note: Each player can list up to 5 mounts at the same time.

Double-click the Mount Vendor to browse all active listings, stats, and prices.

New Hope Shard introduces custom Leveled Spellbooks and Combat Books. These books gain Experience Points (XP) when players actively participate in combat or magic, allowing players to level them up and spend points to unlock powerful attributes.
The following leveling books are available:
Book of War (Warrior Book): Levels up through melee combat.
Spellbook (Magery Book): Levels up through casting Magery spells.
Book of Necromancy: Levels up through Necromancy spellcasting.
Book of Bushido: Levels up through Bushido combat styles.
Book of Ninjitsu: Levels up through Ninjitsu abilities.
Book of Chivalry: Levels up through Chivalry paladin spells.
Maximum Level: 100
Earning XP: Hitting monsters, casting spells, or engaging in active combat gains XP. Slaying higher difficulty monsters awards more XP.
Upgrade Points: Each level up grants Available Points that can be allocated to custom stats.
We have deployed a new patch today focusing on client fixes, map rendering improvements, and launcher usability.
1. Client Map Rendering Fix
* Trammel Map Restored: Resolved the issue where Trammel (map1) terrain was displaying as black squares with the text "UNUSED" on certain client configurations.
* ClassicUO Startup Crash Resolved: Fixed a critical index collision issue in the patched map file that caused the ClassicUO client to crash on startup with a System.ArgumentException (duplicate key error).
2. New Hope Launcher Update (v1.1)
* Auto-Update System Integrated: Implemented a self-updater in the launcher. The launcher will now automatically check for updates on startup, download the new launcher executable if available, and replace itself seamlessly.
* Pre-Packaged Connector Updated: The download link for 1. New Hope Launcher (Connector) on the website has been updated to the new v1.1 launcher package.
How to Apply the Patch:
* Launcher Auto-Patch: If you already have the new v1.1 launcher, simply open it and it will automatically download the correct map file and patch your client.
* Manual Connector Update: If your launcher does not start or is the old version, please re-download the 1. New Hope Launcher (Connector) from the website homepage (http://www.newhopeuo.com) and copy NewHope_Launcher.exe over your old file.

4. Run the new launcher. It will automatically download the corrected map files and launch the game.
